New to Jetskis 1 Year, 6 Months ago
Hi guys im new to jetskis finaly im going to buy one.The problem is i want to buy a GP1200r but i have spoke to some lads here and there and they said i should stay clear of 2 stroke skis that will cost me alot of money in repairs and matenence and that the engines have to be re-built and thats very expensive.I have been told to buy the yamaha 110 vx 4 stroke that has a good engine and doesnt need re-building so im just looking for some honest advice i dont want to buy the ski and have engine problems and spend loads for my first ski.I will be buying around september also does jetsking run at times in the winter.

Thanxs again
Karl

two strokes are not unreliable they just need to be looked after and if sumthing does go wrong its not major money to repair as such.. four strokes are more reliable but if run into bother ur talking serious money.. basically it helpes to know the history of the ski before u purchase..
