Attention all jetskskiers!

The Lough Derg jetski club's first official event will take place on Suinday 27th.

All Jetskis must be launched at Balina Slip in Lough Derg by 10am! Not arrive at 10 - be launched by 10.

Then we will all proceed to the event area where there will be speed trials amongst many other games and competitions!

Reminder: Bring membership money if you havent done so already.

As Motorboat Development Officer for the ISA (National body for Sailing and Boating in Ireland) I would like to send my congratulations and best wishes to Lough Derg Jet Ski Club. In time, history will shown that the establishment of clubs such as this one will be a key element in the development of PWC use in Ireland.

The ISA in support of this type of club is about to introduce a new PWC training scheme, More details to follow.

Membership is now due for Lough Derg Jetski Club. It is payable to the Club treasuruer Mark at any time but the next event on  Sunday April 26th is probably the best oppertunity to pay it.

Annual Club membership:

€50 for one person and his/her Jetski or powerboat

€75 for Family membership(2 adults and children) covering one jetski or powerboat 

If any member has a Jetski and a powerboat then membership must be paid on each craft.

On April 27th at 12 noon, the Lough Derg Jetski Club will host its first official event for members.

The venue is Ballina slipway on to Lough Derg in Co. Tipperary.

We will begin launching the Jetskis from 11:45 onwards as quickly as possible so we don't affect any other crafts launching.  

 On the day we are hoping to have the Lough Derg Club registration Identification stickers for the jetskis so each Jetski can be identified as a club member
