We are now accepting applications for 2009 Membership. In order to be considered you should familiarise yourself with our club constitution as published on this site. Undertake to abide by the PWC code of conduct shown below and committ to taking out insurance on your craft. Discounts on insurace are available to members of ISA affiliated clubs such as ours through Yachtsman Marine. PWC code of conduct Stay safe, ride responsibly Observe these basic rules to make sure you stay safe on the water and do not endanger others: Always be considerate to other water users. Be aware of local byelaws. Read and observe the rules posted at launch sites. Do not exceed 5 knots within 200m of a jetty, bridge, and wharf or with 100m of a moored craftor bathing area. Do not enter areas where PWC’s are prohibited. Always wear an appropriate Personal Flotation Device (PFD). Always wear suitable clothing and carry waterproof VHF & safety equipment. Have a minimum 3rd party insurance. Only go out in suitable weather conditions and during daylight hours. Attend an ISA PWC Training Course. Register your PWC and clearly display. Join an ISA PWC Club and enjoy the many benefits to be gained. Reduce your impact In order to make sure you have as little impact on wildlife as possible, follow these simple rules. Avoid sensitive areas. Do not enter into restricted areas. Do not approach roosting or nesting sites for Birds. Do not beach in areas occupied by seals. If you encounter birds or marine mammals, give them a wide berth When passing marine life keep a steady direction and slow to a no wake speed. Never harass or chase wildlife. Avoid the low water mark where birds might be feeding. Dispose of rubbish or contaminants ashore in the proper facility. Report Incidents: In an emergency Call 999 or 112 and ask for the Irish Coast Guard.
