How about a map of locations for jetsking around ireland??? Just an idea? Even just a list of places to go... we cant use Galway bay anymore, the guards cleared us last weekend.
We wereent even causing hassle, we obeyed the 5kmph rule and all until we got out a bit

I go in Lough Derg alot. There are two very popular places, one in the clare oggonolloe side of killaloe and the other is on the nenagh side of balina.
Both are very easy to launch and retrieve jetskis from. However, they are very public areas, so have to drive it slowly near the piers until you get out about 100yrds or so.

There was agreat place in Corofin in north Clare. It was nice and private and is deep so its ideal for jetskiing and watersking, however, 2 years ago a local erected a sign post banning jetskis and placed big boulders on the concrete slip way

Irish jetskis member John, goes in lough Ree....I dont know where you can launch from there but its a big lake so theres probably plenty of places to launch from

I was out in courtown in wexford recently. It was great. I met 3 other skiers there. 2 from cork and a local lad from wexford who told me about this site.
One of the lads had this seadoo gp1400r jetski....what a monster of a machine! I have a 2003 kawasaki 1100stx with a sport impeller, and its NOT slow, but he seadoo juts left me for dead.

Anyway, courtown is good in wexford - I reccomend it

lough ree is a good place to go sking i luanch from hudsons bay and its a class lake like being outin the sea its massive and no one bothers s you not even those arseholes that go fishin bother you.great place . pity more people dont be down ther cuase its a great spot i dont usually go to sea well on less there is a few skis. lookin for oter spots to is well ye news letter would be good.
